Who is Jesus?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Savior of the world.  He was born of the Virgin Mary, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit according to the word of prophecy.  He lived a perfect and sinless life.  After a ministry of preaching, healing, and making disciples, He was crucified on a cross in the place of sinners.  God poured the deserved wrath of sinners upon Jesus at the cross, whereby God’s wrath was fully appeased.  After spending three days dead, Jesus Christ took up life again in resurrection as a demonstration of His power over sin, death, and Hell.  He ascended into Heaven here He presently sits at God’s right hand.  Persons are “born again” into a personal relationship of redemption and grace with Christ when they repent of their sins and trust in Christ’s atonement by faith.  Salvation is the work of God alone apart from any work of man.
