Also new for 2012 are Heatherwood’s good news clubs.  Good news clubs are extra curricular after school club meetings that provide interested parents with the opportunity to further their elementary aged children’s Christian education on the campus of our public elementary schools.  Students will learn songs of faith, hear Bible stories, memorize scripture, and be guided by committed Christians through their elementary years.  Heatherwood sponsors good news clubs in the Newnan Crossing and Welch elementary schools.  Interested parents should encourage their children to look for a club at their school.
